Parking 101

I've written and deleted several lines about today's photo - some funny, others not so much. What ever else it may be, I'm fairly sure it's the first time I've seen a tractor and trailer parked on the pavement, even in Turkey where traffic rules only apply to everyone else and parking at one's personal convenience only is a national sport.

I was in Didim all afternoon.  The dolmus (minibus) journey there and back again avoids the direct route by touring several housing developments,  thus providing an excellent opportunity to reach the mental state of mindless tolerant patience needed to deal with the official bureacucy that necessitated my being there and provided the perfect excuse for an evening quietly on my patio with dog, dinner and beer..
