Fire pit sort of evening

Had a lovely visit by friend Jayne, from the Salvos today. Jayne had a knee replacement 6 weeks ago, and is recovering very well. So when Martin joined us for a bit we were laughing at our various surgeries!!!

The weather has cooled down significantly, we all thought we were well and truly into summer and spring had just bypassed us, but today was very cool and Martin even made a fire. He sat out on the patio for most of the evening enjoying his book on Audible. Been a bit of a new discovery for him as when he was laid up last week; it really was the only way he could “read”!
