BLIP BRUNCH

Early morning swim…another 30 lengths (that’s 90 this week!)

Enjoyed a great blip meet today.
Our planned walk was cancelled by the appalling weather but was replaced by a very tasty brunch. I had never been to this cafe before but will definitely return especially as we spotted delicious looking pastries on the way out. We managed to chat for well over an hour personalising our blip posts a bit more.

My other planned meet up was Vance as my poor tennis friend L had been called for a pre op assessment to remove yet another tumour. This time in her thigh. The operation is tomorrow….well that was the plan but apparently the consultant was questioning how much of her leg to remove!?@!? He decided to ask for a 2nd opinion…good idea I think. L is so scared, worried and frustrated. Hoping I can catch up with her tomorrow now.

Quick cuppa with Mum after a delivery of a couple of necessities and then into hospital for an appointment that had been postponed until October. (My confusion but frustrating!) so did a bit of paperwork for the chaplaincy team.
Then back to poor Daisy who has been quite neglected today (rain cancelled her walk too!!)
