Sheltering...

...from the torrential rain under the patio table, poor little soggy Dunnock.

Woke to find it already raining and the rain became harder as the day went on, pausing eventually late afternoon, before the next overnight wave. The yellow weather warning for heavy rain continues throughout tomorrow as well. And it’s felt rather chilly in the house, the winter vest is back out!

Last Sunday I was told we were entitled to carers to help Dad while he was so unwell. Today it finally got sorted and while the carer helped Dad get ready for bed, I used my half hour of new found freedom to tidy the kitchen!
