Doctors Creek this Morning…..

Maisie and I were out the door and away on our walk before 6.am. A lovely clear sky with a light frost. A busy day at home. I spent time watching TV …..the funeral our late Māori King Tuheitia at Turangawaewae Marae in the Waikato. Prior to the funeral the late King’s daughter Nga Wai hono i te po was anointed as the Queen of the Kingitanga. It was very moving.
