And then it went away

Both the peacock butterfly and the sunshine went away soon after I took this photo. Although I did get my washing dry outside mostly.

An upside down sort of day. We were going to pop out for some bits and pieces but by the time we got round to it, it was heading towards lunch time and I’d got an afternoon video call with Nicoiseannie, so I said I’d stay at home for that.

In the end, the town was gridlocked when Callum did go out, (so he came back) because of the extra visitors and the double circuit round Saltburn Bank of the Tour of Britain Cycle Race.

I ended up watching about an hour of it on live TV. it was really quite exciting at the end as they headed into the finish point in Redcar.

However, it was a good video call as per usual and now we are just waiting for the rain to stop before giving the hounds a quick evening walk.
