Railway track run
Monday runday, so I took the old railway track route between Langford and Witham. Sheltered under the trees, flat and apart from a small section with puddles ideal for running. After the run I paused at the blipped bridge to relax, listen to my audio book and enjoy watching the fish in the river. Before long I was joined by a kingfisher - pure joy.
Later I joined M for a Bob at the Basin. 19 degrees, so warm. I swam to the jetty and enjoyed a natter and a tea afterwards whilst waiting for M, who was delayed at work so unfortunately couldn't join us. M told me about a range of bobbing hats - different colours, so I am thinking of treating myself.
I returned home for some household and parkrun admin.
