Another visit to Wally

Our old friend Wally has been bouncing between Katoomba and Nepean hospitals for the last couple of months - we visited him at the latter today.
They seem happy with his new pacemaker so he’s about to be sent back up the mountain to Katoomba for some rehab with the aim of getting him home in due course with some form of home help.
Wally has accompanied us on a lap of Europe in 2016 and before that on 2 train journeys across Russia. Wally had never been to Russia but his fluency in the language and willingness to engage any local in conversation made for some experiences of a lifetime.
