Chilling

Actually, the opposite - in the literal sense. It went up to 32ºc this afternoon. 

But I had an iced coffee. I had an ice cream. I had a cold beer. I had lunch in an air conditioned shopping centre. 

I made do. 

It seems to be a peaceful and laid-back wee city, so I have enjoyed my day. It is a Blipper's paradise as well. 

I got my Blip while admiring the Adam Mickiewicz Park. It is a great spot to just sit and watch people. 

My first Extra is the monument to the victims of the 1956 uprising, which started here. Tanks against protesters. Deaths are estimated at between 50 and 100. 

The next Extra is the renowned Śródka mural by Radosław Barek. I love a good mural. This one did not disappoint. 

My final Extra is the city's cathedral on Ostrów Tumski, seen as I approached from the east.
