Out and about

I slept well and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with RB13 and S123 before heading out the Lavery exhibition with S143.

Overall I enjoyed it - it was well put together and showed the evolution of his painting career. A few pictures really captured my attention - I especially liked his portraits of women and games of tennis.  However I didn't get a sense of his own style - rather different pictures reminded me of other artists.

The sun was shining when I left and after saying good bye to S143 I made my way to Calton Hill for a wander and then to the St James Quarter where these lights caught my eye.

I've enjoyed my visit to Edinburgh.  Bookgroup is always great fun and it is nice to be able to combine it with other things.

Chaidh mi  a Dhun Eideann.  Thadail mi air dà thaisbeanadh.
