Had a good night's sleep and feel a lot better today, but my back has started playing up again!!!!

I caught up on a pile of ironing this morning, very exciting huh!!  Then this afternoon I had to go back for another blood test!!!  A couple of weeks ago I was invited to go for a health check-up, so I thought it best to accept the invitation.  I had to do a blood test there too and I'm so needle phobic - but the nurse was excellent.  

Anyway I got results back within two days - amazing!!!  Everything OK but apparently I was asked to go for another blood test, offered a date of 3rd September, as the Doctor thinks my platelets are low and she wanted another one to be sure it wasn't a false reading or something!!! A bit worrying but I have no idea what that means so I'm trying not to dwell on it until I'm told something.

So today I had to go back for that other blood test.  Still get very needle phobic, different nurse but still as good and very sympathetic with it. Now have to wait for the results.

After that I felt my back needed a walk so we went on down to the Prom,  had a lovely walk along there.  It was very warm in places but cool in the shade.  Met a few people we knew for a chat, including our decorator.

We were going to get an ice cream st the cafe on the Prom but there was quite a queue and apparently they have limited supply so we decided to go on to Thyme Out for coffee.  Hubby managed to have an enormous piece of carrot cake and I had a small portion of ice cream so all good.

Back along the Prom to the car and home again.

Keeping everything crossed for the results of this blood test.  Do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
