Base of lifeboat when it was raining!
Not sure I would want to get on this lifeboat if it leaks in the rain!
When I booked the ferry there were no cabins left so I had a seat which proved to be very uncomfortable so I spent most of the night sitting in various places and had about an hours sleep before getting breakfast at 5.15 U.K. time! My phone suddenly resurrected itself when it realised we were back in England and I had a phone call from Sian to tell me about a traumatic event that occurred after she dropped me off! When we arrived and went into a car park three policemen came across and asked if we were staying the night! We said “No, just me going back to England. They told Sian to be careful to lock all the doors! There is acmajor problem with black asylum seekers in camps in ouisterham. Sian saw that a warning light for an open door had come on and she was just going to see when she noticed a man coming close she jumped in the van and drove very quickly away for about 1/4 of a mile! She then jumped out and shit the door and saw a man racing towards her. She ran back and jumped into the front and squealed off. The dogs had not barked at all but Sian’s van is set out so that it is not easy to get in at the back fortunately. She was worried that someone might have got in but when she got back to the campsite the man in the camper van next door checked everythjng! She has lost a chair but nothing else. That is apparently how it all works, a boot is opened or a door and when the driver stops to shut it they get in! Just have to keep everything locked. She was also worried that something might have happened to me so she phoned Brittany Ferries to make sure I had checked in! Not a pleasant experience but she could talk to Ian about it but not me! When I let her know we had arrived and I was just walking to customs she phoned so I had to talk to her whilst smiling at the customs men! They were quite okay with it! Going to bed now as one hours sleep in twenty four hours is not enough!!! Will catch up with blip in the next few days and then will have Tascha to sit for again next Sunday!
When I got back to Portsmouth I had to walk to Portsmouth harbour station a twenty minute walk which took nearer forty five minutes and my battery was getting low! First train to Bristol was relatively quiet! Second train to Plymouth was absolutely full and I was joined by a delightful Chinese lady who taught economics at bath university and lived in Reading and was on her way to Torquay to spend some time by the sea! She had been brought up in a seaside city in China. I am missing the company now and that is not normal for me! Anyway goodnight all!
