The postponed 60th birthday celebrations for my sister (she had Covid) finally took place in the gazebo in the garden despite the rather autumnal chill. We had heaters and blankets so it wasn’t too bad - unless you were running back and forward to the house like I seemed to be…
I managed not to take one single photo, but did video L as she opened her present from me and the whole family collectively breathed a sigh of relief that they no longer had to keep the secret which is that I’m taking her to Liverpool for a couple of days in November to see Bob Dylan. Her poor husband has had to not only not tell her, but he’s had to watch her calendar in case she books in a gig over the dates, as well as prevent her from trying to book tickets for any of the other tour dates (she can impulsive lol) Well done JD!
