Lighting over Hvar

Motored from Primosten to Hvar today (a very light wind from the south-east made sailing impractical).  A force  9 gale is forecast for later tonight/early tomorrow, so we've tied up in the marina at the town of Hvar.

History the island of Hvar has been very important for trade routes along the Adriatic coast and it has been inhabited since neolithic times. The town of Stari Grad is one of the oldest towns in Europe.

We were entertained by a spectacular electric storm tonight, and today's blip captures some sheet lighting in the sky over the town of Hvar.
