Crathes Castle

The ancestoral home of the Burnett family, Crathes Castle outside Banchory in Aberdeenshire, stands in manicured lawns and spectacular gardens.  Well worth a visit but watch out for the ‘Green Lady’ often seen standing beside a fireplace with an infant in her arms.  During renovations the bones of a young child were found in the hearthstone of the fireplace - SPOOKY!
