This morning I filled a GP eConsult only to get a phone call a few minutes later, to say I should always call, and they had an appointment with a locum who used to be an orthopaedic surgeon. He didn't understand why nothing had been followed up from my hip X-Ray and referred me to an orthopaedic consultant for an Andy Murray hip joint! He doesn't think I'll need an MRI as the surgeon who repaired the tear in 2019 in his words "is the best in the South West" and he also said how women were more often dismissed for hip pain and tears, and also knowing that there had been surgery they should have known the X-Ray wasn't going to have given all the information. He was really lovely and at least now I'm on the waiting list to get on the waiting list!
