Hull

We started the day with Humber Bridge parkrun. It was great to jeff round it with C, who has not run for some time, but wants to get her work-life balance back in check. She walked the ups and jogged the downs. Humber Bridge parkrun is quite a challenge as there are a good few inclineson the 3 lap course. C has been a bit overwhelmed with responsibility at work recently, so I was determined to spend the weekend prioritising her and it was good to chat about her work as we ran round the beautiful quarry. 

After breakfast and a shower, we went out for a walk to a beautiful Victorian park, with 3 fountains, lots of trees/flowers and a huge greenhouse - see extra. Then we walked up the Avenues past the mural featuring the Fine Young Cannibals amongst others (see blip) to a tap bar, where we had a couple of half's, then further up to restaurant where C treated us to a splendid meal.

After, we returned home to watch a film.
