My Last Weekend Shift

A lovely sunny morning, clouded over with sunny spells, calm and warm.

Up early, got ready for work.  A day working in the airport, mostly on the check-in desk.  A fairly busy day of passengers, all flights on time.  Walkies with Sammy, playing with Kitty.  Feet up, telly on. 

I handed in my notice a few weeks ago, now my last week or few days are coming close.  I start my new job in a weeks time.  Although it's not my official last day yet, I have been working with some folk today that'll I'll not work with again.  Mairead and Kathleen organised a peerie (small) leaving party at teatime, with cake, cookies and tea, along with a leaving card and present.  I really have enjoyed working alongside Mairead, Kathleen and Leslie.  I'll certainly see them all again, but we said our goodbyes for now, and see the rest of the gang through the week.  L-R - Leslie, Callum, Aiden, Mairead, Anthony (at back), me, Kathleen, Kim and Elora.  Taken in the Loganair ops office, Sumburgh Airport.
