Fine Morning at da Gill

A cloudy start to the day, but it cleared into sunny day.  Fairly calm all day, flat calm tonight.

Up early, popped by Madeline's on my morning walk.  Headed down to Laura's on my way to work, only Eve home, she made me a cuppa.  A 1pm start in the airport today.  Mostly working on the check-in desk, all flights on time, apart from all Aberdeen flights.  A quiet night at home.

Before a cuppa with Eve, I took advantage of the fine morning and headed into the hills for some fresh air and sunshine.  I've blipped this mootie (tiny) house before, sad to see it continue to rot.  Shame someone wouldn't out a new roof on it, just to preserve the history.  Still various bits inside, but as a teenager, we used to come up here and go inside.  Inside had a small toilet with a curtain, an old resting chair that doubled up as a bed, a gas cooker, table and chair, cutlery etc, and photos, candles and ornaments on the mantlepiece.  Perched high and lonely on the hill, the Gill, South Cunningsburgh.
