The Common Darters are still coming up out of the pond - there were two this morning.  This one is hanging onto the edge of the Lilly Pad that it chose as its spot for emergence - the exuvia case is the little Kermit like fellow to its right.  Shortly after this it took its first flight as an adult - its wings still quite soft - and sat on our wood store for a bit.  

After that I am afraid to say that it blundered into a spider's web.  I decided to intervene at this point as I was right next to it at the time, and managed to extricate it before its wings became ensnared. As a result it was able to fly away and will hopefully have found a safer perch now.
