Karma Is A Cat

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Princess, I hope you are appreciating all these Tay-Tay lyric references. I have taken my homework very seriously.

Also, this is very much a part two blip from Thursday's entry. Once again, it was thunder and lightning here in Paraparaumu and once again I decided to spend the evening in the spare room with the barn cats.

It was partly to reassure them with all the loud booming going on. Also, I wanted them to stay in the spare room, rather than running around outside, coming to our back door. I didn't like the idea of them getting drenched.

And with company in their room, I thought it was less likely for them to venture out there (this turned out to be true).

It was sort of weird though, because Caro was only just back so our first night together, we spent mostly in separate rooms. Because cats.

I suppose for us, that is wholly appropriate.

That was Saturday night. Sunday has been much quieter and calmer. The weather outside is still crappy but we've hunkered down, stayed warm and cuddled cats.

Taylor would approve.

S.
