Early Bird

An early start to beat the crowds. We travelled to Sandsend this morning for coffee and a wander. Richard walked along to the path to the cafe whilst I had a wander along the beach. Surprised to see a Curlew and Geese enjoying a trip to the seaside (see extra). Good to see the Lifeguards on duty on a busy weekend.

We were on our way back just before lunch as Richard tires quickly. I experimented with photographs and rather liked the reflected light in this pool. Collected some small pebbles and sea glass to add to my small collection. The coast had the best of the weather as we drove back into more overcast conditions.
