Hoofield Landslides

A fine morning, gentle breeze and sunny spells.  Rain started in the afternoon, into the evening.  Drier again tonight.

Up early, another day getting washing out.  Headed out walkies and popped by Madeline's.  Nipped down to Laura's and a walk.  An afternoon doing cleaning chores.  Poor Kitty didn't think much of the vacuum cleaner.  More walkies with Sammy this evening, then mam, Laura, Shaun and Olly came by for a cuppa.  Olly was super happy to see Kitty again.  Off to bed early.

Me and Sammy headed off for a walk when at Laura's, I wanted to see the landslides that occurred just over a week ago.  We hiked up the hill, making to the top of the main landslide. A good chunk of land slipped away, rumbling 100ft down the hill.  As I climbed the hill, it was soaking wet, never a chance to dry out this summer, no wonder there was a few landslides.  I stepped gently around the area, I didn't want another to happen with me there.  Looking down the steep slopes of Hoofield, stretching over Cunningsburgh.
