Joe's 50th
A beautiful sunny morning, highs of 21⁰c. Clouded over, a lovely 18⁰c most of the day. Thunderstorms up north brought rain this evening, dried up quickly.
A day working on my own. I was emptying a coal bunker first thing, then working with wheelie bins in Burra and Nesting. After lunch, it was weeding in Lerwick. Walkies with Sammy after work, again he wanted to go longer walks. A quiet evening at home, but heading out to the local, a band playing for my friend's birthday.
Time to party the night away for friend Joe's (Robertson) 50th birthday bash. Eek, the next few years are going to be a run of 50th birthdays, am I really approaching that age? Local band, Marackled are playing and entertaining the crowds. Marackled (mirackled) is a Shetland word, translating into severe injury or very drunk. The night might end that way. Joe and me in the Kiln Bar, Main Street, Scalloway.
