Cherry Liqueur

Our very kind house sitters left us a bottle of Portuguese cherry liqueur by way of a thank you present. Really we should have been thanking them (which we did) for looking after Flora so well. Now back in Portugal they claim to be missing our 'sweet dog'. I'm not sure what this drink will taste like though I'm drawn to the 'sour cherry' mentioned. Isn't it a pretty label though?  And a thoughtful gift.  

Today is our wedding anniversary. We tend not to make a huge deal of this because it's a very long time since Cameraman and I were married on a cold August day in Edinburgh. But thinking about it we should make a huge deal of it for that very reason. 

We'll enjoy a day at home and maybe go out for coffee. The forecast is, as ever,  for rain but by this evening the sun should be out. Maybe we'll sit in the garden with a celebratory cherry liqueur.
