Day at a Time

Propagation

Thank you for all your kind wishes yesterday. The cherry liqueur was sampled and I found it surprisingly enjoyable. I was concerned it would be sweet but it wasn't really. It was an unexpected gift from the house sitters but I don't think I'll be rushing out to buy another bottle.

This is a busy time of celebration here because today is my birthday. We didn't plan that very well all those years ago though of course when we were young things consecutive celebrations were no bother.

I asked Cameraman for a heated propagator for my birthday present. Here it is. I'm delighted. Take that you sulky chilli, tomato and aubergine seeds - you'll be helped greatly by this device come next year. I don't have a greenhouse so this is a real boon.

Cameraman asked what I'd like to do today. I chose tidying out the potting shed. I have literally 100s of plastic flower pots. Who knows why. They're going to the garden centre for recycling. All the garden huts are filthy but I'll enjoy sorting them out, especially as it's a warm, sunny day. Not everyone's choice I realise but it works for me.

Tonight we are going out for a meal and tomorrow I'll have my family here for a party. I'm so fortunate.
