Out and about
I woke at 6 full of energy and joy and had a good swim. Back for a quiet breakfast and some admin for Mum.
One J was up and ready to go we went to town and started at The Georgian House. The sun was out and the sky was blue. I'd never been there before so it was an interesting hour or so.
A wander asking George St and then some food in the Scottish Café, inside which printed a wise move as outside the sky glowered and then it rained, looked like heavily.
It was dry by the time we left and puffed out way up the Playfair Steps and then on to Gladstone's Land, another first for me. We made it for the 3 pm tour, more stairs! I'm glad we got the tour but it was nearly 4.30 before we emerged, to the sun.
Took a bus down to Leith Walk to have a look at Valvona and Crolla. Legend has J's dad decorated it in the 50's.
Bus home, TV and a snackette watching the double rainbow after more heavy rain before bed.
I managed to take no photos of the earlier historic stuff.
