Emirati Women's Day

It is Emirati Women's Day tomorrow. One of the office assistants, Jojo, informed me that they had decorated the far end of the Marhaba Lounge with flowers, so I went to check it out, armed with my camera. Unfortunately, I won't be in the office tomorrow to see what has been organised.

G's first day went well. Her student was tutored over the holidays, and it has paid off. We had lunch together, and then I went to WFH, but first, I had to finish setting up my desk. I swapped G's monitor with mine. That has helped bring uniformity to the screens. It looks better now. I eventually had the two monitors running. The new setup gives me more distance between me and the screens. That has to be good!

G had a 4get-me-not outing to a garden centre. She came home with a plant in a pot she painted!
