A window on Hoy (Day 3396)

A bit of a quieter day for me. Off to Orphir to deal with a drippy tap this morning. The customer was a friend of Dad's and she talked and talked and talked about him and her memories of him. Dad always spoke very highly of her and it is clear she misses their chats about literature, Latin and Greek. The job took me 10 minutes, but in all I was at her house for 90 minutes.
In to town next to collect some stuff, then back home to get Sigyn out for a wander.
After lunch my beautiful wife and I headed through to Stromness. While HV dealt with the horses I worked away at the steading and got an outside tap fitted which will make life a bit easier for HV.
We stopped off to see Mum on the way home so I could sort out a little issue with her phone and we could see the pup.
