Tommy
Now that the bank holiday is over we have had a hot and sunny day today! I spent a good amount of the day sorting out my images for a photography competition that is being organised by the RAC Club (a social/sports club we belong to). They usually run an annual competition and sometimes they get sponsors for it, this year Leica are sponsoring it and the winning prize is Leica camera equipment to the value of £10,000 - so obviously I should enter it, it's not everyday there is such a generous prize on offer. I have encouraged Tommy to also enter it so I hope that he does, as it is open to all members of the club.
I had to go collect some of my prints from a member of my camera club as they had been used in the PAGB competition, and then label them and wrap them in protective bubble wrap to be dropped off tomorrow.
I walked Xena later in the afternoon and it was very hot, she was panting and was quite relieved to get home to lie on the cool kitchen floor.
Today it is Adam's birthday. So why a photo of Tommy, you may ask - well Adam is in Cambridge and Tommy was working from home today, so at the end of the day I asked him if I could take a photo of him. It's always good to get family photos when you can! Tommy is in need of a haircut and has a bit of a Movember going on in August. We will see Adam this weekend when we will celebrate his birthday.
Last night Gavin and I watched a gem of a movie on Netflix called Joy Ride, starring Olivia Coleman and it is filmed in County Kerry, Ireland.
