Lily of the Valley Shrub

Otherwise known as Pieris japonica. I have two of these shrubs in pots. They are both flowering now. Their foliage is very pretty all year round.
A day of fairly mixed weather. There was a heavy downpour of rain before dawn. Maisie and I started walking in the rain which was short lived. A few showers through the day interspersed with warm sunshine. Friend Dawn has been in hospital for a few days. She’s home now and is awaiting the arrival of her granddaughter from Brisbane. They will be having some busy days together.
