Diary of an Edinburgher

Souvenir

After I’d taken Archie round the block, I spent the morning booking things - restaurants on the cruise, a ‘Welcome to Bangkok’ private tour (using sky train, river boats and tuk tuks) and an appointment for Archie at the vet.

I then decided to nip into town and have another go in M&S - I’d given up last time. But this time I persevered until I got a few things - undergarments.

I was home before JR and Archie left to walk to the vet. (JR did 17, 967 steps!) So he’s got some pills to try for two weeks… hmm we’ll see. I hope they fix up the poor wee chap, as he’s driven mad, mainly at night.

The lady next to me on the bus was wearing this ring. I admired it, and got the whole story of how she got it 20 years ago in the village before climbing up to Machu Picchu. We had a good chat about travelling in the old days compared to now.

Just watched this year’s Edinburgh Tattoo. Brilliant production as ever. It just gets more spectacular each year.

On to Season Three of Slow Horses!

PS This is the last day (a whole month) that I have to put drops in my eyes several times a day.
