But only after a trip to Inzievar for some nice bits of ash, destined to be glued into a panel and then cut out to fit around the pedestal of the sink in the boy's bathroom, sitting on top of the butchered Ikea cupboard that fills the space between the bath and wall for no other reason than to cover the pipes. And so it is done. 

They've had three of the four coats of yacht varnish that I hope will provide enough protection from the inevitable splashes of shower water. Final coat tomorrow and then it can wait until it goes up to Dundee for the final fitting.
