Oxford
This year we decided to make the most of being 350 miles south of home by going to see Oxford again. The last and only time we have been was the hottest day on record so we couldn’t really appreciate it. This time we went to see Uncle Charles' old college, Pembroke. Then wandered round the colleges, getting lots of photos. including this one of the Hertford Bridge.
We particularly enjoyed visiting Blackwell's book shop on Broad Street, with the TARDIS-like Norrington Room. Several books were purchased. We stayed in a lovely little apartment just outside the centre and Dad made a full roast chicken dinner. After dinner we all watched The Producers, inspired by recently watched Remembering Gene Wilder on Netflix.
