"Stranded"

We started our High Coast walks with a short trip down to see the wind shelter "stranded". Both Jan and Shelling have posted blips from here so I'll add a view looking out from the interior, which they haven't used.
We shall be returning here later in the year to see how it looks in winter. Perhaps also in autumn to sleep here, listening to the waves and watching the sun rise. (It faces west.)
After we'd been here a while a couple arrived with dogs. The dogs were very well-behaved and when they sat in the shelter for a picture we all joined the photo shoot, as you see in the extra.
After this we visited the cube, another shelter from the Arknat project. We'd been there a few weeks ago but we tried a new short and steep path up. It was okay but I think we'll stick to the longer and more comfortable path in future.
It was at the end of this latter path that Jan's foot landed in a hidden hole in the otherwise flat green field. I heard a crack as she went over and it was obvious something nasty had happened to her ankle. Fortunately she could walk on it and we were only 150 m from a road. We are hoping it is "just" a strain and will consider the hospital tomorrow.
