Owl Crag, with Jan and Kjell

Today we left the garden and took Kjell to the top of Owl Crag (Uvberget) with it's lovely views over the forest, the lake (extra), and the sea.
There was a Swedish/Iranian family having a barbecue at the fireplace so we sat here on the top and brewed up a cup of tea using our Kelly kettle. Then we set off to go down so Kjell could get to his next meeting in town. As we passed the little hut near the top the family we'd seen earlier invited us in to eat because they had so much food. We popped in and had a small bite of some delicious chicken and beef. Unfortunately we had to head off all too quickly but it was a lovely surprise.
After my tough gardening yesterday I was feeling a little jaded so I spent the late afternoon sitting in the sun and picking blackcurrants from our bushes. A very peaceful and contemplative activity.
