Cowboy hats

We have had a long train journey to Edinburgh today on the first day of our holiday. We planned to go by LNER from St Pancras but there were no Edinburgh trains running from St Pancras today so we had to endure a six hour cross country train from Euston. We got to our hotel about 20 minutes before dinner. I took this photo of this group of hat wearers on the train station at Preston. We had various ideas about what they were up to! Tomorrow we are off to Fort William on yet more trains! But then we are on a tour with Great Rail Journeys so it’s to be expected :-)
