On the beach

Our son arrived yesterday afternoon and l collected him from the station after Pilates. We walked round the marina and he bought us some very nice fish from the fishmonger there which we enjoyed for tea.

Today our daughter and her family are arriving. We had hoped to go for an early walk but it was raining but there was a break in the rain later on and we just managed a quick walk along the beach.

Our daughter’s family arrived in the afternoon having had a fairly long drive. It was good to see them all and our youngest grandson was showing off his walking expertise. It’s still early days but he is getting there.

I will hope to catch up with journals in a few days time
