Shield Bug on Helenium

Well, we escaped the forecasted rain and wind at the butterfly house this morning, but I suspect that the said forecast put a lot of people off coming out today which is a real shame as it was a lovely morning. 

Been busy this afternoon doing laundry and sorting out a bit of admin whilst the cricket has been on in the background. Well done Ollie Pope and the lads - a good first win as captain. 

Popped out into the garden (again!) for my blip and managed to spot this tiny little shield bug hiding in amongst the Helenium flower. 

Off to London again tomorrow for a couple of nights for BIL birthday.
