Surprising second flush.

The roses are well into their second flush of flowers, but none has produced as many as this one which is treated just the same as the others. The reason for so many blooms escapes me.
We were lucky to escape the storm which caused so many problems further north, and what little rain there was overnight dried up early this morning. Winds were said to have gusted to 50 mph, not that I noticed. A pleasantly warm day, out of the wind, ideal for pottering about.
