Wasdale Campsite.

Wasdale Campsite, based between Wastwater and Wasdale Head, is my location for the next 5 days on a camping adventure with Matthew.

Wasdale is remote with the nearest villages around ten miles or so away. There's no WiFi and no mobile phone signal so it really is back to nature!

The route to Wasdale is rather narrow and windy so it was quite the adventure just getting there. When we arrived the forecast torrential rain had arrived and it was a soggy job putting the tent up. However we managed and were up and running with the camping stove before too long. Technically cooking inside the tent is a no go, but we made sure there was some ventilation as the best option to avoid further soakings!!
