Malvern Hills

This rose has done so well this year it’s in danger of pulling down the arch.

Today has been mainly about sorting out what to take on the next trip and deciding what kind of coat to take. My nice RAB puffy jacket is cosy but not rainproof. The ski jacket is rainproof and warm but it’s heavy.

I walked down to the village to Boots to get some small shampoo and conditioners but they don’t stock small. I’ve found some random hotel ones. That hill back home gets steeper every time I come back up.

We’ve checked all the paper work of which there is loads. Car park at Edinburgh, bus booking to Glasgow, another bus to the airport and then the hotel. And 2 further hotels before and after the trip, plus flights. (In case you wonder why we don’t drive to Glasgow it’s because we fly back to Edinburgh. No wonder some people think going away is too much hassle.

#2 daughter is coming for the van tomorrow before we leave as they are having a couple of nights up on the coast.
