Today this could be

I'm a bit sad tonight 

Is Tooli's last night and I've just made choc chip cookies for her to take away 

Her bags are all packed and we've looked at each other and tried to hold in our tears 

Today someone at work said to me, 'it must be awful saying goodbye to your daughter, more so than your son.

I was aghast.  Tooli even more so when I told her - and even more offended when I told her my reply 

No. I said.  It breaks my heart equally when my Boy and my Gal leave.  I love them both the same and my heart feels the pain the same for both of them 

I'll be fine once she is away thru security. But the actual build up to that is always awful
