First Steps
We spent the day with No1 son and family at a farm which must make more from its family entertainment and food/drink sales.
There are all sorts of 'exotic' species (making t as much a zoo as a farm)
But it was a good day out with all sorts of pictures.
I think the highlight of the day for me was at the end of the day when we were on the last 'tractor ride' of the day. As we were going round their newest 'attraction' was pointed out .... a llama with had been born 45 minutes earlier. The it managed to get to its feet for the first time .... and then took its first steps only to be greeted by a foal.
On the way home SWMBO and I went to see it there was a discount on multi-buys of wine (something we can't get 'up north') in a large Aldi store we knew of. There wasn't (but we bought some anyway). the shop is directly across the road from the hotel that has been on the TV recently ... the one shown in the riots on the TV where there were attempts to set fire to the hotel housing the immigrants. It was where we used to stay when we visited No1 Son.
More pictures from the day (including the sheep racing) are Over Here.
