Stormy weather...

Wakened up this morning to find that the weather had taken a turn for the worse... indeed a storm was blowing! No swimming and sunbathing for us today! Thunder, lightening and high winds instead... never mind! Decided to make this "Mall day" - time for a little retail therapy! Headed for the Tanger mall just off island and passed some very pleasant time exploring the shops. Bought a lovely dress and several nice tops... all unusual, very pretty, nice quality and much cheaper than UK prices...
The weather cleared up enough late afternoon for a lovely walk on the beach. We
had a delicious meal in the evening at the wonderfully quirky restaurant called the "Island Cow". Fantastic and extensive menu, delicious food and friendly helpful service. The décor is cow focussed and entertaining, with lots of funny signs... I particularly liked the one that read "unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy"...!. Parents beware!
