Soggy starling

Someone said that starlings are getting scarcer, I think.

From time to time, mine arrive mob handed and squabble over the fatballs. That happened at lunchtime.

I took a number of shots of the action. (Extra). Interesting actions but a poor photo.

My blip is of one who escaped from the squabble. He’s looking roughed up, but I’d seen him in the bird bath, so he’s actually still dripping wet.
