Had a day to myself. Exercised most of the day and did some reading. Bought some books whilst overseas (English books are cheaper in English speaking countries). It’s enjoyable to read and feed your mind. I’m currently reading How to Design Your New Work Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans and started on Clear Thinking by Shane Parrish (which is really electric).

On the way back home I noticed the local Takoyaki / Crepes shop surrounding by high schoolers. It got me thinking back to when I was in high school hanging out with friends at the local McDonald’s for about an hour (which felt longer at the time). It was nice meeting new people at the time and building my social skills (and getting embarrassed by my mistakes). Those were the days.
