Butter and Eggs

I spied this little Yellow Toadflax plant still flowering  in the  wildflower meadow on the village green. I later discovered another common name for Linaria vulgaris  is Butter- and -Eggs, a moniker I  rather like.

This evening I made bramble  jelly from the  blackberries we picked yesterday. Bit of a faff but the taste is worth the  effort.
