Hibiscus

This morning when I came into the dining room, I was so pleased to see this  flower on my Hibiscus plant had opened. The plant was a cutting given me by my aunt.
This afternoon we drove to my Mum's house to prepare for the arrival of my sister and her husband who will soon be flying in from Australia.  They have just taken off for Tokyo on the first leg of their journey.
