The Caldew

Another backblip, yesterday's has been posted and I'll try to catch up tomorrow.
Met up with some family members for breakfast and a walk round the village before we went our separate ways.
We returned to the tent and had an early lunch and then headed north for a walk along the Caldew, slightly different from our initial plan as a road was closed.
If we'd started at the original planned place we could have got to Caldbeck and had a cuppa before turning back but it was just a bit too far. It was sunny and breezy today.
We went to a nearby chip shop for fish suppers to eat in the tent, they weren't quite as hot as they should have been (though still fine) as we were held up getting back to the site as the farmer was trying to get some recalcitrant sheep to go into a new field.
A lazy evening thereafter.
